At HECO's Waiau Powerplant in the environmental laboratory, I was able to test the Pongamia oil before it was transformed and after it was changed into biodiesel. Also, additional data on regular oil, diesel, and the biodiesel HECO uses for their biodiesel powerplant, is provided to use as a comparison to the Pongamia biodiesel. We will focus on the sections that say BTU/bbl, API, Sulfur, and Acid (mL). All the darkened parts and parts not listed can be ignored.
